Long-time character actor Lance Reddick, best known for his work on The Wire and the John Wick series, has passed away. He was 60.
He was discovered dead at his Los Angeles home early on Friday, according to his agent Mia Hansen. Hansen claimed that Reddick passed away naturally.
Hansen added, “Lance will be sorely missed.
Reddick’s death comes as a shock to movie fans, as he was in the middle of a publicity tour for John Wick: Chapter 4, where he reprised his role as Charon. He skipped the movie’s earlier this week red carpet debut.
In the 1990s, Reddick began his acting career, with appearances in Bosch, New York Undercover, The Nanny, Oz, and Fringe.
His spouse Stephanie, as well as their kids Yvonne and Christopher, survive him.
