Why Kohli, Tendulkar, Rohit, MS Dhoni and other Indian cricketers lost their Twitter ‘blue tick’ overnight? Explained
Team India superstars including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni lost their verification ticks on leading social media platform Twitter on Thursday
Under Musk's management, Twitter came up with its paid subscription ‘Twitter Blue’, which requires the user to pay a monthly-subscription fees for the verified ticks.
According to the new rules Twitter verification mark will be a paid service, costing USD 8 per month via the web and USD 11 per month through in-app payment on iOS and Android.
it wasn't just limited to Indian cricketers; one of the greatest footballers in the history of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo also lost his ‘tick’ on the platform.
